A1 motorway Florence-Rome, exit Chiusi-Chianciano Terme.

Follow the signs for Chianciano Terme.
1 km before Chianciano Terme you will find a petrol station on your right and the restaurant, called “Rabarbaro”  on your left.
After 100 meters turn left following the signs for Monte Amiata, Via Cassia SS2.
Immediately turn right and keep following the same path. You are now on the road which circles Chianciano Terme.
For the next two crossroads turn left, towards Monte Amiata. Now begins a series of curves for about 4 km. The road then rises and is bordered by cypresses.

Turn left immediately after the sign indicating “Loc. La Foce” and follow the signs for “Chiarentana”.
Now you are on the called “Strada della Foce e Fornace” that after the first curve becomes a dirt road. Continue for approx 2.3km avoiding right turns.
You will meet a small cemetery on your left, past “Chiarentana” and continue for another 250m until you see the sign “I PRATI”.

Turn right and you’re there. Welcome!
